AJ Hord is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He recently graduated from MACC veterinary technician program to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. In KY, AJ used to work at the Louisville Zoo working with Sumatran tigers, wallabys and wallaroos. He moved to Missouri in 2018 and worked at MU health center as a cook, feeding the patients and workers of the hospital. AJ then made the switch to the veterinary field at a clinic in Columbia and was promoted from kennel assistant to kennel manager. He tended to dogs in daycare and boarding. AJ then worked at MU veterinary hospital in the SAECC working in ER and ICU. While in school he did his externship at Green Hills and says it’s the best choice he has ever made. Green Hills is AJ’s dream job and asks that if you see him around the clinic, don’t be afraid to say “Hi” or ask a question. He loves what he does.
